Salt, who turned 6 years of age yesterday, 27 November 2012 , is still siring beautiful puppies as well as winning in the show ring.

I have great news! My " blond beauty" Sophie's first litter is due 18 January 2012. Moa is the sire, and this will be his 5th litter. Sophie's and Moa's pages are on my website in The Girls and The Boys sections respectively. What makes this litter particularly exciting is that BOTH Sophie and Moa are Best Head Class winners at Irish Wolfhound Specialties in Canada and the USA, so beautiful, typical, heads, so important as a distinguishing feature of the breed, can be excpected along with all the other fine qualites of these two beautiful hounds and their ancestors.
Below are photos of some of Moa's excellent progeny from his previous litters. Aotearoa Whero Kuri was born in the USA from a litter of 10, 5 males and 5 females 22 May 2008. He had 8 points towards his Championship before he went to his new home where his owners were not interested in finishing him. Aotearoa Emrys Putu "Kip' is from a litter of 9, 3 males and 6 females, born to Ch. Aotearoa Emrys Mango 26 July 2009. You can see more photos of this litter growing up below. Putu finished his Championship in Kars ON in July 2011 with a Group 4th from the Bred By Exhibitor class and Best Of Breed over Champions at the Capital Area Sighthound Assn.Specialty. He had 7 points and a Best Puppy in Group win from the puppy classes in 2010. His litter sister Ch. Aotearoa Emrys Pokere "Keera" finished her Championship from the puppy classes in 2010 with 4 Best Puppy in Group wins and 2 adult Group placements. Moa's most recent litter of 7 was born on 3 May 2010, 6 males and 1 female. Aotearoa Kaldaun Tutanekai "Toot" is pictured at 4 months, and at 6 months winning Best of Breed over adults and Best Puppy in Group at his very first show. Also photos of the only female in that litter, Ch. Aotearoa Kaldaun Concerto "Heera", who finished her Championship in 2011 with Best Puppy in Group and adult Group placements.
