Hari, which means "joyful" in Maori, is our keeper from a fine litter of 11 born to the lovely red wheaten bitch Luna who I bred and co-own with Louise Kearns. He reminds me so much of Ira, so many of the same qualities, and some uniquely his own. His is without a doubt the best male head on any hound I've bred, and his movement is perfection. He finished easily with a Hound Group first under world renowned All breed judge Nigel Aubrey Jones, who had previously given him Best of Breed at 13 months of age over large Irish Wolfhound entry including Champions. This win is also pictured here.

Some others from this litter who have made their presence felt in the showring are Can.Ch. Aotearoa Hatupatu De Luna, Am.Ch. Aotearoa Gnome DeLuna, Am.Ch. Delfe De Luna. Aotearoa Lily De Luna, Louise's keeper, won the Bred by Exhibitor Bitch AND the Best Hindquarters classes at out first IWCC Quebec Regional Specialty 31 May 2003 under breeder/judge
Martha Dean, Whitehall , Kentucky, USA. Aotearoa Sund' Luna O' Harrowhill has sired some fine progeny that are well on their way to their American Championships.

Their dam Luna is also pictured on this page winning a group 4th after Best of Breed over a Large IW entry including several other Group and Specialty winning Champions under another world renowned All Breed judge James G Reynolds, who was also the first President of our Irish Wolfhound Club of Canada which was founded in 1970. I had the pleasure of serving on the executive of the IWCC with Jim for the first 4 years, chairing the 1974 Specialty with Brig. Gen. Alfred DeQuoy judging, and am now a life member of our club.

Hari has sired 4 litters from which came Group placing Can.Ch. Aotearoa Val's Mokatetoka (Rocky) out of Can.Ch. Locksley's Wild Chelsey, and from his litter born Can. Ch. Emrys That Touch of Class (Mercedes) came Can.Ch. Aotearoa Mata Hari at Emrys (Mati) whose beautiful face welcomes you on the "Girls" entry page.
